I realize how lucky I am that breastfeeding came easily to me. I had those babies latched on right away, and I am so thankful. Even though that part of breastfeeding was easy, the relentlessness of nursing a child was tough. Being tied down to the feeding schedule made getting anything done difficult, and it’s obviously much harder to get sleep when you have to feed every couple of hours. Even though nursing was challenging at times, I committed to it since I know how beneficial breast milk is.
